Established in 1990, The Great Outdoors is a retailer and supplier of outdoor equipment for various outdoor pursuits. We specialise in the rental market, and provide ski clothing, kayaks and tents to schools, groups and individuals

We sell fishing tackle and bait, including worms and maggots, and we have frozen bait all year round.

We also provide a laundry service through our associate business, "The Linen Box", and we can wash and reproof outdoor clothing to restore the waterproof properties of your garments. We also do dry cleaning and ironing, and can provide a weekly sports kit service to local sports teams.
